Purex® Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar Giveaway, Sweepstakes and Review

Disclaimer:  I received Purex Fels-Naptha complimentary through Purex Insiders in order to evaluate it for myself. As always, my opinions are my own.

I remember when I first heard about the Purex® Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar years and years ago and started using it. Believe it or not, my brother in law is a real nut about his laundry.  He grew up in upstate new your with 7 brothers and his mom naturally taught her boys how to do their own laundry. She was busy enough with other tasks!  She introduced them to  the Purex® Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar to get rid of those stains that boys get everyday and every single way.

He still uses it today, even as a grown up professional he finds that it really works wonders to get his clothes looking just right. I was so glad that Bob introduced the Purex® Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar so many years ago...it has become a staple in my house with an active child and a husband that plays weekend sports (think mud, rain, grassy fields ugh, I know!)
I know it doesn't look high tech but this little bar is a real wonder stain remover.  Purex® Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar is a solid laundry bar that works overtime to remove your toughest stains. Whether it is dirt, grease, or ring-around-the-collar, a bar of Purex® Fels-Naptha  can clean up the mess.
This amazing little bar pre-treats dozens of stains and is safe on colors. It also is great for grease and ring-around-the collar. It is easy to use and more effective than spray.Purex Fels-Naptha laundry bar and stain remover has been around since 1894.

Purex Fels-Naptha is a solid laundry bar soap that fights oily, greasy, and perspiration stains, dirt, ring around the collar and much, much more.  Here are some other uses around the house you will find to be a lifesaver too:

  • You can clean showers, bathtubs and sinks-just rub a wet bar of  Purex Fels-Naptha on a sponge and wipe down the bathtub, sink or shower. Rinse.
  • Make your own dish soap and save a bundle- just dissolve 1 part Purex Fels-Naptha in 2 parts water.
  • Poison Ivy, poison oak or poison sumac prevention and/or treatment-If you have been exposed to poison ivy, oak or sumac, shower immediately with Purex Fels-Naptha to remove the resin from your skin. It can help to dry up the rash too. This can greatly reduce and possibly prevent skin reactions to the poison ivy oil. Do not forget  to immediately launder your clothes in some grated Purex Fels-Naptha to remove the resin and oil from your clothes. Poison ivy resin can stay on your clothes for over 1 year even if the clothes have been washed with normal detergent.
What a great sweepstakes....I just had to share!  Purex is celebrating 120 years of fantastic products.
One lucky winner will win the $500 grand prize and 119 second place winners will receive a coupon for a free bar of Purex® Fels-Naptha Laundry bar. That's 120 winners for every year Fels-Naptha has been helping remove America's toughest stains! ENTER HERE!

Fels-Naptha has been around for over 100 years, fighting the toughest stains in laundry.
You just simply rub the stain with a wet bar of the Purex Fels-Naptha a few minutes before the wash to pretreat it.  When in the wash, the stains (including ring around the collar and sports uniforms) vanish by lifting out of the fabric.  What is even better is the laundry bar is also color safe.
This bar will also work wonderful wonders on sport uniforms that have grass stains, ketchup stains and even the hardest stains to get out.  It fights dirt, grease and even the toughest ring around the "neck" (as my daughter puts it).  There are many other things that this little bar can fight stain wise.  It does work better than sprays.  It has to being around over 100 years!
