Beauty Box 5 May Subscription Box Unboxing Event @beautybox5 #bb5fave

Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample of the product for review purposes. The opinions are my own, based on my personal experience with the product.
I really like trying new beauty products from lipsticks to creams and washes and even scent.  Sometimes I look at a product in the store but just can't pull the trigger because I worry it might not be for me and I don't want to spend all that money if I don't know that I really like it.  Every once in a while you get lucky and the store has a sample or perhaps a beauty company sends you a sample and you get to try it first. The ideal solution for all of us. Beauty Box 5 understands that and that is why they created their great sampling box program. Beauty Box 5 is an amazing subscription beauty box sampler that is delivered right to your doorstep (or mailbox) filled with a combination of 5 brand new cosmetic samples monthly, quarterly or annually. You can start out at just $12 a month or save more by getting a longer subscription. Signing up to receive Beauty Box 5 each month is a great new way for anyone from teens to moms to sample new cosmetic products and see what works for you.  Each month they include tips and tricks for the products on the back of this little card below to help you get the most out of your beauty samples each month.

Beauty Box 5 shared with me that they are always looking for the inside scoop on hot new items to make the best matches for your own personal taste and lifestyle.  The prices are reasonable too. You can get a Beauty Box 5 monthly for $12, quarterly for $30 or annually for just $99.  Shipping is always free.  A fun way to check out lots of the new beauty stuff out there without a whole lot of $$ investment. The great part is that if you like something, you can just up and buy the full size item, right?  Much better than buying a full size you-know-what-beauty-item and paying a fortune and then it sits in the makeup bag gathering dust because it doesn't work for you.

Beauty Box 5 mixes it up with their brands and keeps things adventurous. They source from a mix of niche, luxe, regular drugstore, vegan and eco-conscious brands.  One month you might get hair care, nail care, makeup, skin care, fragrances or even beauty accessories or a mix of any of the above.  I love the suspense!  You will get a carefully curated blend of travel, full-size and deluxe samples from their most current collection.

I just received the May Fresh and Focused Box this week.  The team at Beauty Box 5 knows that sometimes we all need a little beauty boost. Perhaps we are daydreaming about the beach and summer fun or pinning our summer outfits on our Pinterest boards but we need to stay in the zone at least to get through the workday! Beauty Box 5 is here with a few pick-me-ups to keep you going.  Here is the scoop on the fresh goodies that were in this cute little box:

Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths are just what I need to stash in my purse post-gym or anytime I need a to feel a little more confident. Those HOT spring days when I am working and running all over?  Already here and I tried Ban Total Refresh and they are so cool and refreshing. My skin feels clean and fresh after using these. After my yoga class they worked well enough so I could run to the grocery store and not feel confident. Sometimes I love to get together with friends after work and it is a challenge to freshen up and I see these as a good solution. Right in the purse or tote bag for me! Retail:  $2.97 for 10 cloths

The next product in the box totally new to me and perfect for spring...Harvey Prince Hello is a really pretty floral fragrance that kind of made me go, "Aaaaah, yes!" A really light citrus scent with some of my fave fruits and flowers:  mandarin, grapefruit, forsythia and plumeria all suggest spring in a friendly and sweet way.  The cute little sample size I received is perfect for traveling and will be toted on my upcoming business trip. I will be looking for the full size bottle of this fresh spring scent because at $55.00 for 5.7oz it is an excellent deal.

H20 Plus Aqualibrium Marine Cleansing Gel is the perfect way to deep clean your skin and get it really clean. I love the scent and the fact that it is totally oil free. It got all my makeup off including the long wear lipstick. One huge benefit is that this cleanser also gently exfoliates while cleaning all the impurities off your skin. I feel good about using products with marine botanicals and sea salts. It makes my skin feel and look super clean after a warm day. It is  $18.00 for 120ml.

CATTIVA Precisione Eye Liner is a waterproof eye liner that totally made my eyes pop. It went on super smooth and I love how it retracts so there is minimal issue with getting squished when you close it. I have used it with a light touch for day time and added more for a more smokey evening eye kind of look. My husband thought I looked amazing so it worked for me.  It has some serious staying power even through a few drinks and a long dinner. Bonus is that it contains no parabens. $20.00 for 0.012oz .
The last item in this exciting May box for a little bit of extra fun is the MaskerAide Hydrating Facial Sheet Mask. If you have never tried this before you are in for a total treat. You can squeeze this baby in during lunch or before a big night out. I used it before a big date night with my hubby. Totally paraben free, vegan friendly and easy to use. They are even biodegradeable. I LOVE this. You open it up, apply it to a clean face and smooth it on. It looks silly but feels delicious. Leave it on 10-20 minutes and you look so refreshed like you just had a facial. $5.99 for 1 mask

Another amazing box full of beauty fun from BeautyBox5.
